If the training method is "Classic", how can I be sure the contemporary methods and technologies are not overlooked?

Classical Dressage transcends time, countries, and languages.  Classical Dressage focuses on how horses communicate and so until that changes, the development of communication and trust will remain the same.

As exercises, gymnastics, and movements have been introduced, Classical Dressage has recognized those changes as long as they are useful in achieving the levels of the training tree.

Changes in equipment from new technological advances are also recognized in the Classical approach if they enhance either horse or rider's ability or safety.

Fads will come and go, but Classical Dressage will continue to incorporate the "Best of the Best" methods from around the world, in its quest for perfect harmony.  Although at times it will seem slow to accept new thoughts, it will be careful that the results are true.

Classical Dressage will mainly be changed through technological advances, as it has been studying the relationship of horse and rider for centuries.  Suggestions to different ways of developing the horse, will be compared to the past centuries where many suggestions have been determined to not be in the best interest of horse and rider.

New techniques, methods, and technologies will be added within the time tested Principles of Classical Horsemanship as they enhance the Horse-Equestrian relationship.
